Hi! Staying at POFQ Jan 12-17 w/ our kids age 3 & 6. We bkd a std view room and wondering if there is a specific bldg we should rqst for a quiet room as we plan on coming back for naps. I've read reviews that the ferry/parking lot/pool areas can be no

    Carrie,

I was there last December, and one of the things I loved about this resort was the quieter setting. When I get back to my hotel, I want peace and quiet! So I think you will be happy with your choice.

As for witch building to request, I would go with building 7. It is the furthest away from the central part of the resort, and therefore gets less ambient noise. And because this is the smallest Moderate resort, that does not mean that you have super long walks to get to everything. You really are still just a short stroll away from the pool and main lobby building.

The next best bet would be building 4, then 3.

Final tip: When you check in, tell them what you are looking for in a room. There is always the outside chance that they could have a few River View rooms available that could make for an even more scenic and quiet setting without them charging you the difference. Upgrades do happen sometimes!

    Have a magical vacation!
