Hi Rachel,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're off to a great start in planning your Walt Disney World vacation. How exciting!
You're going to love the cobblestone streets and wrought-iron balconies reminiscent of New Orleans at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. I've stayed at this popular Disney Resort hotel several times in the past and loved the charming, yet intimate atmosphere and being able to enjoy Mickey-shaped Beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. Yum!
If utilizing Disney's complimentary transportation from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, you'll need to catch a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and transfer to a water launch (water taxi) or Resort Monorail bound for
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I would allow approximately 60 minutes for your travel time. If you find you need a quicker method of transportation,
Minnie Van Service, taxis and ride-sharing services are also available for travel between resorts at an added cost. When traveling by car, I would estimate your travel time to take approximately 15 minutes.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Rachel. Please stop by again with any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
Happy Travels,
Jodie
