We are staying at POFQ. How do we get from FQ to the Polynesian using Disney transportation? About how long should it take?

    Hi Rachel,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're off to a great start in planning your Walt Disney World vacation. How exciting!

You're going to love the cobblestone streets and wrought-iron balconies reminiscent of New Orleans at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. I've stayed at this popular Disney Resort hotel several times in the past and loved the charming, yet intimate atmosphere and being able to enjoy Mickey-shaped Beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. Yum!

If utilizing Disney's complimentary transportation from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, you'll need to catch a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and transfer to a water launch (water taxi) or Resort Monorail bound for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I would allow approximately 60 minutes for your travel time. If you find you need a quicker method of transportation, Minnie Van Service, taxis and ride-sharing services are also available for travel between resorts at an added cost. When traveling by car, I would estimate your travel time to take approximately 15 minutes.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Rachel. Please stop by again with any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
