We are staying at POFQ during the week of Thanksgiving. Would like to spend some time going to the various resorts and looking at the decorations, etc. We will not have a car, so what is the best way to get to other resorts to look around or eat ?

I'll be spending Thanksgiving at WDW this year too!

Visiting the resorts to see the lovely holiday decorations is a wonderful activity. I've done this a number of times myself. And of course you'll want to experience many of the fabulous restaurants that are located in the resorts. If you don't have a car, using the free WDW transportation is the way to go. You'll need to use one of the theme parks or Downtown Disney as a hub. For example, if you wanted to see the life-sized gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, you would take a bus from Port Orleans to the Magic Kingdom and from there hop on the monorail to the GF.

There are several groups of hotels that are easy to tour as a block. The GF, the Polynesian, and the Contemporary are all on the monorail line. It's no problem at all to hop between them. Similarly, the Epcot area resorts, Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach Clubs, and Swan & Dolphin, are within walking distance of each other, making them simple to tour as a group.

Have a great trip and be sure to stop and say "Hi" if you see me in the parks.
