    Hello, we will be staying at POFQ. Disney indicates that Sassagoula opens at 6 a.m. for breakfast. But, on a video that I was watching, it showed signage on the individual windows, like Grill Shop, as open from 7 to 11 a.m. What will be open at 6 a.m.?

    How wonderful to hear you will be staying at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter, one of my favorite Disney Resort hotels! You will love the pool areas, gift shop, and beautifully decorated lobby. You will certainly feel the intimate atmosphere only found in Parisian quartiers!

    Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is open from 6:00 a.m. till midnight; however, the smaller sections serving the hot food will begin to operate at 7:00 am. The grab 'n go section will be open at 6:00 a.m. for you to get some cereal, fruit and coffee. My dad, who is a senior Disney enthusiast, will be outside the food court area even before six to get some coffee and read the newspaper at the tables outside. Be sure to get the Recreation Calendar at check-in with all the times and activities offered at the resort, there is such a big variety that you'll have a hard time choosing from the list! From Painting on de’ Bayou to Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides, you'll have some serious fun if you choose to spend a day at the resort.
