Hi, we are staying in the Paddock area (hopefully) next week. How long a walk is it from there to get to Disney Springs near that Earl of Sandwich area? Thanks much!

    chEARs Fred,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family loves Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. The reason we love it directly relates to your question - we LOVE the proximity to Disney Springs! It is just a short walk over the bridge to all the exciting dining and entertainment.

So, how far of a walk it is depends on what area of The Paddock you are staying in! I plugged in the north area of The Paddock into the “Get Directions” interactive map on the My Disney Experience app, and it gave a walk time of 13 minutes. But, the southern tip of The Paddock is very close to Congress Park (probably a two-minute walk or so), and Congress Park is a five-minute walk to The Marketplace (where Earl of Sandwich is located). That would cut your commute in half! Either way, the restaurant is an easy walk from your Resort hotel room.

Besides the fantastic food, I love shopping at Disney Springs! We were just there this past weekend, and the kiddos were begging to build a droid at Star Wars Trading Post. I, on the other hand was much more interested in the new Betsey Johnson-Disney jewelry collaboration at Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories. And maybe, just maybe, I sent a selfie to my husband with Mickey Mouse Ray-Bans on as a “reminder” that my birthday is coming up!

Fred, I hope you have a fantastic time on your upcoming trip! Feel free to swing back by with any more questions.
