Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Thomas!
Just thinking about strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. on a clear September morning, seeing the Fall decorations adorning the storefronts and breathing in the delicious scents coming from the
Main Street Confectionery and the
Main Street Bakery makes me so happy. I’m glad you’ll be able to experience this feeling in just over a month!
Select shops and restaurants along Main Street, U.S.A. typically open an hour before
Magic Kingdom Park officially opens for the day. That means you can take your time grabbing a cup of Starbucks coffee or wandering through the
Emporium to check out the merchandise before making your way to the
Cinderella Castle stage for the official “
Let the Magic Begin” welcome show. The show begins each morning 5 minutes prior to when the Park opens for all Guests. Since an early morning
Extra Magic Hour is scheduled from 7-8 a.m. on Sept. 25, that
should mean the show will begin at 7:55 a.m. (before the Park opens to everyone at 8). Since Theme Park hours and showtimes are always subject to change, I would recommend checking the
Park Hours calendar when you get a little closer to your arrival date to see if a change has been made.
As for the
Electrical Water Pageant, you can see it from the area along the waterfront just outside Magic Kingdom Park as well as
Disney’s Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, but my personal favorite place to watch it is from the shores of the beach at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Grab a Dole Whip from the
Pineapple Lanai, find a spot to dig your toes in the sand and listen to the waves of the
Seven Seas Lagoon gently lap against the rocky edge of the beach as the Pageant makes its way across the water. It’s such an amazing way to end an evening at
Walt Disney World Resort.
Hopefully these suggestions will help you make the most out of your day at Magic Kingdom Park, Thomas! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.
