I will be staying at an onsite resort - can I use the free theme park parking the morning of my check-in day, if I want to visit a park before actually checking in?

    Lauren,

Yes, on your check-in date you can take full advantage of all the Disney Resort Collection hotel perks, including both complimentary resort and theme park standard parking. I still would strongly urge you to use the Online Check-In feature, even if you have no intention of getting to your resort until far later in the day. This way all your account information is in order, and they can text you your room number when it is available.

    BONUS TIP #1
While the standard Theme Park parking is complimentary, there is a preferred parking area at the theme parks that you can opt to use. You would have to pay the difference between standard and preferred parking pricing that non-resort guests would pay, but it can shorten your walk to the park entrances, and make your exit at the end of a long park day a bit quicker.

    BONUS TIP #2
Make sure you have the My Disney Experience App installed on your phone. When you park at the Disney theme parks the new Car Locator feature will remember where you parked, helping you quickly find your car so you can head off to your next adventure!

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
