Hi moms staying onsite later in the year with a dining plan and resort mug included, I know you can pay for a refillable cup for the day at the water parks but can I pay and use the resort mug rather than getting another cup?

Hi Amy! How exciting to hear you have a vacation planned at the Walt Disney World Resort

One of my favorite things to do as soon as we arrive at our home resort is to pick up our refillable mug. They are so convenient as they allow you to get refills of soft drinks, coffee, hot cocoa, and tea during your visit at various stations located throughout the Disney Resort Hotels. However, they will not work at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach, since the refill stations at those two locations will not recognize the built-in chip. Mugs at water parks usually come in a different design so they will make a good souvenir, you can use it for decorating purposes at home or to eat popcorn out of, to hold pencils and markers on a desk, etc.

I hope this has been somewhat helpful, Amy. Please come back with more and more questions, if you need to!

    See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
