We are staying onsite at Coronado Springs the week of Xmas and plan on being at Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day. Would we have any issues eating Christmas dinner somewhere else and getting back into Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks later that night?

    Dear Cliff,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

How exciting that you plan to be in the most magical place on earth on the most magical day of the year! Christmas Day is such a fantastic day to be at Magic Kingdom, but it is one of the days in the year when it occasionally does fill to capacity and that can limit your ability to return to the park after your dinner. Of course, this is not guaranteed but it is one possibility. I personally would not like to run the risk of not being able to get back in, so I would consider an Advanced Dining Reservation for that day. If you don't mind the idea of potentially not being able to get back into Magic Kingdom after dinner, then I would say make that reservation outside of Magic Kingdom and have dinner elsewhere if you prefer.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
