Diane from NY
Hello, Diane! Welcome again to planDisney! You have definitely come to the right place to ask your question. I consider myself a bit of a Walt Disney World food expert.
Once you arrive to the Walt Disney World property, your dining options are nearly unlimited! (I say nearly because unless you have park hopper, you can’t go into another park to eat). With SO many great options, I find myself trying to go to at least one new restaurant each time I visit.
Yes, you can absolutely eat dinner (or breakfast or lunch) at a different WDW resort than you are staying at. In fact, I highly recommend doing this! There are some hidden gems at the resorts. Let’s start with
Olivia’s Café at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. This restaurant is not only reasonably priced, but also delicious! The Olivia’s breakfast combo is a TON of food, and we also split a Banana Bread French toast for the table. Dinner is also delightful, with Captain Wahoo’s Catch of the Day being my go-to.
I could go on and on about restaurants! Kona Café, at Disney’s Polynesian Village has awesome sushi. Another fantastic resort restaurant is
Sanaa, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Kidani Village. We have gone here for a late evening snack, as the Indian-Style Bread Service appetizer is a crowd-pleaser!
Narcoosee’s, at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is an upscale treat, with delicious Maine Lobster Bisque & a Surf and Turf that was fabulous.
I’m making myself hungry with all of these suggestions. I hope you find this helpful as you continue to plan your February visit to Walt Disney World!
Happy Traveling (and eating!),
Tracy
