Hi, We are staying one night at a Disney Resort. Our flight lands at Orlando at 6 AM. Is the main Disney Park vehicle entrance open 24 hours so we can drive directly from the airport to the hotel and have them store our bags til we check in at 3 PM?

    Mary,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

If you are arriving from the Orlando airport after a 6 am landing, you will have no problem getting to your resort hotel. Not only will you be able to get to your resort hotel, but checking your bags should not be a problem either. Last year I arrived at a similar time after a very early flight, and I was able to make my way to Disney's Pop Century Resort, drop off my bags at the Bell Services desk, and head off to a theme park for my first day of magic!

If upon arrival you want to grab a quick breakfast, many of the resort hotel food courts, like the Everything POP Shopping & Dining food court at Pop Century, typically open by 7 am.

    BONUS TIP #1
If you are driving to Walt Disney World, you should know that you can also enjoy the now-complimentary parking at the resort, as well as at the theme parks.

    BONUS TIP #2
Even if your arrival day adventures include returning to the resort late in the evening, the front desk staff can get you your bags before you head to your home in the magic!

    BONUS TIP #3
You will want to use the Online Check-In feature of your My Disney Experience account before arriving. This will help ensure your account is set up properly for charging, among other things. They will even text you your room number when it is ready!

Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions, and I will be glad to assist further!

    Have a Magical Vacation!
