We are staying at the Old Key West Villas. 1) Do I need to bring anything extra for our stay? (trash bags, paper towels, tp, hand soap) 2) Is it a fully furnished kitchen? 3) Do they clean the rooms daily? Thanks!

    Welcome Home!

I love Disney's Old Key West Resort! This beautiful Disney Vacation Club Resort has some of the biggest Deluxe Villas at Walt Disney World Resort, offers tranquil grounds, is conveniently located just a DVC Water Taxi ride away from the shopping, entertainment, and dining at Disney Springs, and is home to one of our favorite restaurants, a perennial Member pick, Olivia's Cafe. I have a feeling you will love it as much as I do.

While you will have a fully outfitted kitchen in your Villa, I like to have extras of several items. I normally toss a ziploc baggie full of laundry pods in my suitcase so that I can prepare to return home with clean clothes. I know it sounds silly, but this really takes a great deal of stress away from the re-entry to normal life after a practically-perfect trip "Home."I also recommend packing your favorite pre-ground coffee and basket filters for the full sized, drip style coffee pot that you will find. Finally, if your preference is for very soft toilet paper, you may want to bring that along.

If you booked your Villa using Vacation Points, you will not have housekeeping service daily. On stays of 7-nights or fewer, you will have a Trash & Towel Service on Day four. Expect trash to be removed, consumables to be replenished, and fresh towels. On stays of 8-nights or more, you will have a full cleaning on day four and then a Trash & Towel Service on Day eight. Then the cycle repeats. If you reserved your accommodations with cash, then daily housekeeping is in store for you!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
