Hi Sarah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is such a great question to ask other experienced Disney moms. I’m so glad you thought to ask us! Gift shops at most Walt Disney World Resorts sell a very limited selection of baby items. I spoke to a Cast Member at Disney’s Old Key West this morning, to find out what might be available. While the selection can change at any time, currently they have jars of banana baby food, Gentlease formula, Gerber Apple and Apple Prune Juice.
I recommend that you either bring your little Mouseketeer’s preferred food with you, or that you use a grocery delivery service to have the needed items delivered to your resort. My family has used GardenGrocer.com in the past to have groceries delivered to our villa and we have always had excellent service. Items such as diapers, wipes and formula can also be delivered this way. You can certainly bring bottles of ready made formula to Walt Disney World and into the theme parks. If you are flying however, you should review the Transportation Security Administration rules for traveling with liquids since there is a limit on the amount you can bring onboard an aircraft.
I also wanted to make sure you were aware of Disney’s amazing Baby Care Centers. They are located in each theme park and are a wonderful resource for moms and dads. Baby food, formula and other items are available for purchase as well as changing areas and high chairs.
Check out this video from my fellow Moms Panelist Jen to learn more about the Baby Care Centers!
I hope you and your little one have a truly magical trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. I have traveled with babies on several occasions so please feel free to ask any other questions that I can help you with as you plan your upcoming trip!
