We will be staying at the Old Key West Resort with an aging parent. We will be attending the Sunday Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues in Disney Springs. What is the best way (by boat) to get to the Disney Springs West Side Boat Launch?

    Hi Christopher!

Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Though it is on my list of "Must Experience" events at Walt Disney World Resort, I have yet to enjoy the Sunday Gospel Brunch at House of Blues Restaurant & Bar. It sounds fantastic and I really hope that you enjoy it!

If you and your parents are interested in some exercise, there is a walking path between Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney Springs that is about a 30-minute walk. I will warn that there is little shade on this adventure, and I have found it to be very warm.

You could also board a Disney Vacation Club Water Ferry from the dock located just behind The Hospitality House. Cruise along the Sassagoula River until you reach The Landing Dock. Then, you could either walk to West Side or board a boat bearing a red flag for the cruise to your final destination.

I hope this is helpful, Christopher. Let us know if you have any additional questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories.
