Staying at Old Key West in Dec.. Have a standard room which I know has two queen beds. My question is can I request a cot.

    Hi Susananne!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a Disney Vacation Club Member, we have stayed at Disney’s Old Key West Resort on several visits. It is one of our favorites for the laid back atmosphere, large rooms, and amazing Cast Members. All Disney Cast Members are pretty amazing, but it seems to us that Disney’s Old Key West Resort has some of the very best!

If you are looking for an infant cot, all Deluxe Villas come equipped with a pack-n-play already in your room. If you are inquiring about a roll-away style bed for an older Guest, those types of beds are not available in Disney Deluxe Villas. Since all rooms at Disney’s Old Key West Resort are considered Deluxe Villas, roll-away cots are not available. They are available at some other resorts on a first-come, first-served basis, but they cannot be used to add an extra Guest to the room, just to make sleeping arrangements more comfortable. Another option would be to bring your own air mattress with you. While again, this cannot be used to exceed the room’s occupancy limits, you could use one to make sleeping arrangements more convenient. I have teenagers who tend to fight over the space and covers, so I know how that situation can go!

I hope this helps as you plan your upcoming visit, and please let me know what additional questions I can help you with, especially if you have more questions about Disney's Old Key West Resort!

    Wishing you Magical Dreams!
