Hi, Christina! A week and a half is going to be such a nice stay. You should be able to pack in both plenty of theme park time and lots of relaxation time, which really is the perfect vacation combination.
Disney's Old Key West Resort is a beautiful location, and you'll find that the amenities in a deluxe studio are pretty nice in terms of being able to prepare some meals. You won't be able to bring your own electronic appliances to plug in, however, the studios have a microwave, a toaster, and a small refrigerator. With those options, you should be able to microwave some breakfast options or toast up some bread for what my mom used to call "mock grilled cheese" sandwiches.
The
Conch Flats General Store will offer some essentials like milk, cereal, and some quick grab items. You can easily throw together a meal from the stuff you can purchase there.
Have a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort.
