Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sherri! A split-stay is a wonderful way to experience the magic of a
Walt Disney World vacation; it is like having two vacations in one. You will love the laid back, relaxing atmosphere of the Conch Flats community in
Disney’s Old Key West Resort. You are a short walk or ferryboat ride from the fabulous restaurants,
shopping and
entertainment of
Disney Springs. At the beautiful
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you are in the heart of the magic, with stunning views of
Magic Kingdom Park and a quick monorail ride to the entrance. Plus there are some of the best
restaurants right there at the resort, with
‘Ohana being my family’s absolute favorite!
You will find it incredibly easy to make the transfer between resorts. You will just pack up your luggage on the day that you depart Disney’s Old Key West Resort and either call or bring it down to Bell Services. Your luggage will then be transferred to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, arriving late afternoon. Once you check-in to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you will contact Bell Services to have your luggage delivered to your new resort room. While there is no charge for luggage transfer services between the Disney Resort hotels it is customary to provide gratuities to the Bell Services Cast Members who help make the magic of a resort transfer happen so smoothly.
I hope you have an incredible stay at both resorts, taking in the best of what they each have to offer! Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
