We are staying offsite for our upcoming trip over spring break (April 1-8). On our last trip, we loved seeing the opening at MK. Since there are EMHs every day we're there at 7 a.m., will there be an opening "show" at for the regular opening at

    Hi Courtney,

I love the Magic Kingdom opening show as well.

Unfortunately, the show is not usually the same on mornings when the Magic Kingdom opens early due to Extra Magic Hours. When I have arrived for the start of EMH, I have always experienced a very abbreviated version of the festivities. Usually this is just some audio music and a countdown, with no train, characters, or dancers. I have read a few online reports that some guests have seen the full show prior to EMH, but these are not plentiful. For your trip, I would make the assumption that you will not see the full welcome show, but be pleasantly surprised if it appears.

I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but the actual park entertainment information is only released about a week in advance. My suggestion would be to stop by the guest relations office at any of the theme parks (locations noted on the park maps) and ask them to verify whether the show will be performed during your stay.

Good luck with your planning and please let us know if you have additional questions.
