We're going to be staying offsite the 1st night. We're planning to be at Epcot early the next morning, and will check into our WDW resort later that evening. Will we need to activate our Magic Bands at the resort before heading to Epcot?

    Hi, Tiffany!

Can you believe you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth this week? I know you can't wait to get your vacation underway real soon so I hope the next few days fly by. We often like to arrive the night before our stay at the Walt Disney World Resort so we can kick off our vacation as early as we can. The good news I have for you is that you can head straight to Epcot to go Soarin' over the world, take a spin around the Test Track or maybe try some delicious bites at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival because your MagicBands will be ready to go!

Since this is something we do often, I like to complete the Online Check-in before we arrive. It's nice to have it done ahead of time and to receive a text notification once our resort room is ready. And I find it super convenient to be able to head straight there when we are ready for a break. It's a great way to maximize time in the parks.

I hope your family has the most wonderful vacation, Tiffany! This time of yEAR is always one of my favorites because of the festive decor and special events planned. Enjoy every minute of the magic!
