When planning for Early Entry and your Lightning Lane booking window, it will all depend on your resort stay.
As far as
Early Entry goes, you will be eligible for Early Entry on the days you’ll be staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. This includes check-in and check-out days! If you plan to visit the theme parks the day before you check in to the
Riviera, you will not be able to take advantage of Early Entry on that day. Once your check-in day arrives, though, you’ll be able to enjoy the theme parks during that time.
Now, moving on to
Lightning Lanes! You’ll be able to book your Lightning Lane services beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date if you’re staying at a Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, that booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket for date-based tickets.
In your specific situation (since you’ll be staying off and on property!), I’m guessing that the 7 days prior to your resort check-in date will be sooner than the 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket. I’d recommend booking during the earliest booking window possible to give yourself a better chance at snagging the Lightning Lane return times you’re hoping for.
