We are staying at off site at windsor hills resort. Is it bst to get a shuttle to parks or drive ourselves if we plan to hop? Can you get shuttles or cab back to the resort from the park?

    Hi Jake!

I think there are two important pieces to your question: What's the best way to get to the parks from your resort AND What is the best way to move between parks once you're there.

I do not have specifics for your resort, but I can say that I've found that using a rental car has been the easiest way to travel when I stay off-site. With many off-site resorts, the shuttle buses run on a very tight schedule. If you decide that you'd like a break or would like to stay longer, you may be stuck with their timetable. With your own car, this won't be a problem!

Once you've made it to Walt Disney World, you are welcome to use the various transportation options (boat, buses and monorails) to hop between parks. Park hopping can be quite easy without a car, but if you do have one a good thing to note is that you need only pay the parking fee once per day. Your parking pass will allow you to travel to another theme park without the need to pay again.

Taxi cabs are always an option at Walt Disney World. You shouldn't have a problem finding one if you decide to go this route.

    Hope this helps!
