I am staying off site for part of my trip and will be staying at the Riviera for one night. I still have a full day the day I’ll be checking in. Will the Riviera hold my luggage if I drop it off in the morning and head out to the parks before check in at 4

    Hello Emily!

How exciting that you’ll be staying at the newest location on property, Disney’s Riviera Resort! While I haven’t been able to stay there yet, I was able to tour the rooms and dine at this gorgeous resort. There are so many small details that make this resort unique. The Disney themed art throughout the resort is one of my favorite touches. You’ll find beautiful mosaics that seem to be glowing with light depicting favorite scenes from Disney’s Tangled and Peter Pan. In the rooms, you’ll find paintings that mimic classic European art, but with a Disney flair!

When we travel, I usually like to book an early morning flight in, and a late flight out, so we can soak up as much magic and sun as we can before returning home. Bell Services at Walt Disney World Disney Resort Hotels is accustomed to this and is happy to store your luggage for you during the day. Simply bring your bags to Bell Services on arrival and they will store them while you venture out for fun in the theme parks. When you return to your room in the afternoon or evening you can either collect your luggage yourself from Bell Services, or you can call from your room to have your items brought up to you. While it is completely up to you, I usually tip for this service.

I would also recommend you complete Online Check-in in advance, and let them know of your early arrival. While official Disney Vacation Club Check-in time is after 4 PM, occasionally rooms may be ready early, so it never hurts to let them know you will be at the resort in the morning. Maybe some magic will come your way!

Wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Emily!
