Hi, Tamara! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
As a
Walt Disney World Resort off-site Guest, your best bet would be to park at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios first since that’s where you’d like to begin your day. While you can certainly park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and leave your car in the same spot until your day ends at
Magic Kingdom Park, you would have to get from the Magic Kingdom parking lot to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and then take the Monorail or Ferryboat from there to Magic Kingdom Park (where you’d catch a bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios). While there used to be a direct bus from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the other
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, those buses have since moved to Magic Kingdom Park (to the right of the main entrance--between it and
Disney’s Contemporary Resort). Since you want to arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in time for its opening, I’m afraid you would be pressed for time to make all of the connections you would need to travel between the Magic Kingdom Parking lot and there.
Since your
parking fee covers all four Theme Parks in a single day, you would simply save your receipt from your paid parking at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and show it to the parking attendant at the Magic Kingdom parking entrance.
While parking lot operating hours vary from day to day (depending on the Theme Park hours), typically you can expect the parking lots to open from 60 to 90 minutes prior to the Theme Park’s opening (including morning
Extra Magic Hours). Check out the
Park Hours calendar online or on your
My Disney Experience mobile app to see the Disney’s Hollywood Studios hours for the day of your arrival.
Best of luck to you, Tamara! Please let us know if there are any additional questions we can answer for you as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
