We are staying off site and have dinner reservations for this Sunday 12-27 at the Rain Forest Cafe in the Animal Kingdom. Is it possible to park at a resort and get to the restuarant or do we have to park at the park?

Guests are welcome to park at any of the Disney resort hotels to shop or dine there. Generally there is a three-hour parking limit for this. Disney does not permit guests to park at the resorts if there are going to be visiting the theme parks. Although the Animal Kingdom location of the Rainforest Cafe is not technically in the park, it is DIRECTLY adjacent to the park. You should plan to use the parking at the Animal Kingdom theme park to dine at that location of the Rainforest Cafe. Also, from a timing perspective, it really doesn't make sense to park anywhere else. From the AK parking lot, you are just steps away from the Rainforest Cafe. Even if you were to park at the closest resort (the Animal Kingdom Lodge), you would have to park there, walk to the bus stop, wait for the bus, ride the bus to the park, and then walk to the restaurant - and then do the same thing in reverse at the end of your meal. To me, that's not a great use of valuable vacation time.
