We are staying off site in December and want to spend a day touring some of the Disney resorts to see Christmas decorations. We have a breakfast reservation at Cape May Cafe and would like to start our tour there. What is the best way to travel around?

    Hello Jeremy,

Touring the Walt Disney World Resorts and experiencing the decorations and sites during Christmas time makes for a practically perfect day.

After enjoying your breakfast at Cape May Cafe, begin your tour at Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Continue your "deck the hall with boughs of holly" tour by taking a leisurely stroll around Crescent Lake to Disney's Boardwalk Inn. I, then, recommend boarding a Disney bus to Magic Kingdom park from Disney's Boardwalk Inn so you can "Fa-La-La-La" around the Walt Disney World Resort Monorail resorts.

Once you arrive, to Magic Kingdom park, board the Resort Monorail. Your first "jolly holiday" stop is Disney's Contemporary Resort, followed by Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Consider making an advance dining reservation at one of the Walt Disney World monorail resorts restaurants to finish your tour before heading back to Magic Kingdom park and boarding a Disney bus back to Disney's Beach Club Resort. However, if you have time I recommend visiting Disney's Wilderness Lodge, which is one of my favorites during this time of year. Simply board a boat from Magic Kingdom park to arrive at this beautifully decorated resort.

Enjoy the sites of the holidays while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
