It’s always a delight when you stop by planDisney, Kristin!
I’m glad you brought your question our way.
Scheduling rest days between theme park visits is one of the most brilliant ways to do a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. But just because you’re not visiting the parks doesn’t mean you can’t still experience the magic of Walt Disney World Resort! There’s so much to do besides visiting the theme parks, and I’m thrilled to hear you’d like to explore the unique offerings at
Disney Resort hotels!
To be able to drive and park at a Disney Resort hotel, you would need a resort or dining reservation. Additionally, parking for a dining reservation could have a time limit. With that being said, Hakuna Matata, Kristin! It means no worries because you are still welcome to enjoy the magic of Disney Resort hotels. Although you won’t be able to
park a vehicle at the resort or have a ride-share service drop you off, allow me to make a recommendation! If you’d like to resort hop without a dining reservation, a great way to do this would be to head to a resort from the theme parks. If your hotel offers a shuttle service to a theme park or
Disney Springs, you can then use the complimentary
Disney Transportation to get to one of the resorts.
Since you mentioned being whisked away by the
Disney Skyliner, I’d love to point out that
Disney’s Riviera Resort is fabulous with delectable dining options! One of my favorite things to do there is stop by
Le Petit Café for a magical cup of coffee and one of their exquisite, oven-fresh treats. It’s absolutely charming and worth checking out!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Kristin!
