We are staying off property and want to tour the resorts to see Xmas decorations. How can we use the transportation on property

    Holiday greetings, Joseph!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! In less than a month, you'll be enjoying a magical holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. There's just something extra special about a vacation during the merriest time of the yEAR, so I am thrilled you'll have an opportunity to experience it this December.

Joseph, I just returned from a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort and was able to see some of the holiday decor magically appEAR around the theme parks and resorts. I love how each Resort hotel has its own unique displays that coordinate with its theming to help tell the story of each one. With so much to see, I love your idea to spend a day touring the Deluxe Resort hotels, and I have a few ideas on how to accomplish this utilizing the Walt Disney World Transportation

First, as your starting point, I'd plan to park at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Resort hotels offer free parking for several hours for day Guests. You can use the monorail to ride over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa before heading to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Once at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you can ride over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge via a boat (look for the blue flag). Here you have two choices; you can take the boat back to Disney's Contemporary Resort or to Magic Kingdom to hop on the monorail to pick up your car to drive over to Disney's BoardWalk. Your other option is to use the bus service from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can take the Friendship Boat or the all-new Disney Skyliner to Disney's BoardWalk area (drop off is at Epcot's International Gateway a short walk away) to see Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and Disney's Yacht Club Resort. This will allow you to see at least seven resorts decked out for the holidays. If you need to get back to your car, you can take a bus back to Magic Kingdom from any one of these resorts to ride the monorail back over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

I hope my answer is helpful, Joseph! If you have any other questions about your stay next month, please let us know.

Have a MAGICAL and MERRY vacation!
