We are staying off property for our next visit. Are there any quick service restaurants at the parks that offer mickey waffles; specifically gluten free waffles?

Hey there, Daphne! You are a woman after my own heart - planning a vacation to include the luscious Mickey waffles. I like the way you think.

As of right now, the only counter service location where you can get the delicious nuggets of Mickey waffle gold is at Sleepy Hollow in the Liberty Square area of the Magic Kingdom theme park. They serve them there as dessert waffles, with fruit and cream, but you can order this jumbo sized version without the toppings. Unfortunately, these are not a gluten free variety.

Fear not, however. Even if you are not a Walt Disney World resort guest, you are welcome to dine at any of the resort hotel dining locations - and that includes the counter service locations. If your day is going to begin at the Magic Kingdom or Epcot, I highly recommend hopping on the monorail and heading for a quick stop at the Contempo Cafe at Disney's Contemporary Resort or Captain Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Both locations are really convenient to either park you can get to via monorail, and you can pop in, grab a waffle, and hop right back to the monorail. Both locations offer the gluten free variety of Mickey waffle.

You can also hit up any of the other resorts, if you'll be traveling by car. Just let gate security know you are grabbing a bite to eat and you can park for up to three hours without charge. Get an early start and get there early, and you can still make theme park rope drop!

    Enjoy every blissful bite!
