If we're staying off property how late will we actually be able to stay in the park (Magic Kingdom) on Christmas and Christmas Eve(Hollywood Studios)? We have ADR at Chef Mickey's at noon on Christmas Day thinking of skipping parks but what else to do?

    Shawna,

    • On Christmas Eve the Hollywood Studios closes at 9pm.
    • On Christmas Day the  Magic Kingdom closes at 11pm. The Extra Magic Hours that day are Morning ones, so everyone else will be leaving at the same time as you.
Know that the Magic Kingdom will be extremely crowded on Christmas Day. It has, in the past, reached full capacity, where Disney is not allowed to admit any more guests, for safety reasons. Since you are leaving the park for lunch at Chef Mickey's, when you return to the Magic Kingdom you might have a problem getting back in.

Just because you were in there in the morning, it does not mean they will let you back in if they have reached capacity. Even though you have used a park ticket day to get in in the morning. Safety has to come first.

While the Magic Kingdom is a truly magical place to be on Christmas day, you might be better off just enjoying your Chef Mickey experience and relaxing more, saving that park day for another day of your vacation.

    Have a magical vacation!
