Hi Kristina! Welcome to planDisney. April is a fabulous time to visit Disney World because the weather is beautiful, and the crowds are not as wild as they can get closer to summer.
The first thing you need to do is make sure that you download and utilize the
My Disney Experience app. In the app, you can manage your mobile tickets, make dining reservations, add your party to the restaurant walk-up list, and even locate your car at the end of the day after you had so much fun that you forgot where you parked!
You can purchase tickets directly in the My Disney Experience app or utilize
My Disney Experience online on a desktop computer. When purchasing tickets, you will be prompted to choose how many days you want to visit Disney theme parks, your arrival date, and if you want to visit one park or multiple parks each day. These options will determine the price you pay per ticket. Make sure that you create an account and are logged in when you purchase your tickets. After you finalize your purchase, your tickets will appear in the My Disney Experience app. I recommend getting tickets ahead of time because it makes theme park entry much quicker on the day of your visit. When you arrive, simply go to the theme park gate where they will scan your mobile ticket and walk right in without waiting in the ticket purchase line.
If you are staying off property, you will need to pay for parking at each theme park. Here is a
detailed guide to utilizing Disney World parking. The most important thing to remember is that you only have to pay for parking once a day. If you pay to park at Magic Kingdom, you can either leave and come back or go to another Disney theme park without having to pay again.
I hope you all have a wonderful time, and please reach back out to us at planDisney if you have any other questions.
Happy Planning
Jenna
