If staying off property, can you still make dining reservations? Our family of 4, daughters 8 and 10, are staying 5 days from Oct. 14 - 18. We would like to plan and experience a couple special dinners if possible, in the $$ or $$$ range. Any suggestions?

    Hi Laura,

Yes you can still make dining reservations while staying off property. You do not have the flexibility that guests staying at the resorts have but you can make them. You are in the range to start making the reservations now so go ahead and call Disney Dining at 407-939-DINE.

One of our family's favorite places to dine is Citricos in the Grand Floridian. The flavors are wonderful here and the Grand Floridian is a beautiful backdrop for dining.

We also like Chefs de France in Epcot's France's pavillion. This restaurant makes you feel like you are in Paris and dining on the Seine.

Our family also likes Teppan Edo in Japan. This is not only a meal but a show. Really any of the restaurants in World Showcase are great!

How about the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue? While a little pricier, it is super fun! You can also dine at the Whispering Canyon Cafe for a taste of the old west as well.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
