Staying off property; have BBB reservations for 8:40, MK doesn't open until 9 that day; told to arrive 30 min early; didn't specify whether to arrive at MK early or at BBB early; which is it? & how do i get in when park doesn't open until 20 min after

    Katie,

My understanding is that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (BBB) requests people to show up 15 minutes before their appointment at the podium (at the BBB in the MK castle).  To be sure, I also called the BBB and they confirmed my understanding.

They are very hesitant to quote a time to show up at the park gate, because the time needed to get from the gate to the castle can vary greatly depending upon the speed of your party.  In my experience I would say that after getting through the ticket turnstile, at a very fast walk you could be at the castle in 5 minutes, at a more leisurely but purposeful pace it might take 10 minutes, and if you have slower people in your party it could take 15 minutes or more.

You will be allowed to enter the park before 9 am, as long as you have your BBB confirmation number and park admission tickets for your group.  Personally, I would try to arrive fairly early (8:00? 8:10?) so we could enjoy a leisurely stroll to the castle (perhaps take a photo or two) with very few other people in the park.
