    We are staying off grounds and have a dining reservation and The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom at 8:30am. I know the park opens at 9am. Once we park our car what do I need to know about getting into the park early? Also, how early can we arrive?

    Hi Jennifer!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  What better place to enjoy the most important meal of the day than Magic Kingdom Park?

    On days when Magic Kingdom Park opens at 9:00 am, all guests are allowed to enter the Main Street, U.S.A. area at approximately 8:00 am.  Guests may enjoy shopping, capturing photos, or perhaps grabbing their favorite pick-me-up beverage and a snack from Main Street Bakery prior to the welcome show "Let the Magic Begin" just before park opening.  Guests with early breakfast reservations are permitted to enter a bit earlier, at around 7:45 am.  Look for signs directing you to the check-in area for guests with breakfast reservations, usually to the left as you face the entrance.

    If you'd like to be among the first guests to enter, I recommend planning to arrive at the Magic Kingdom parking area around 7:00 am.  This will allow time for you to go through security/bag check and to travel to the front gate of Magic Kingdom Park by ferry or monorail.

    Jennifer, I would like to encourage you to double-check your dining reservation.  I see in June that The Diamond Horseshoe serves lunch from 1:00 to 2:55 pm and dinner from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, but does not list hours for breakfast.  Perhaps your breakfast reservation is at different dining location.  Table-Service locations within Magic Kingdom Park serving breakfast include The Crystal Palace, Be Our Guest, The Plaza Restaurant, and Cinderella's Royal Table.
