We will be staying off Disney. How do I get to Chef Mickey's for a reservation? Is breakfast a good character dining experience there? I think my family would enjoy eating breakfast rather than the lunch or dinner. My husband is as finicky as my kids.

To get to Chef Mickey's from off-site you could do one of two things:

    - Drive to the Contemporary Resort. This will be on almost any map of the Orlando area. You will be given a three hour parking pass.
    - Drive to the Magic Kingdom and park there. From the Magic Kingdom, take the monorail to the Contemporary. This would be your best option if you were planning to visit the Magic Kingdom after breakfast because you would not need to move your car and could get started with your touring right away.

The character interaction at Chef Mickey's for breakfast is great. You'll have lots of quality time with Mickey, Minnie and the gang. I think a breakfast buffet is a great choice if you're traveling with picky eaters. Buffets are nice because you can see what you're getting before you choose it, and there are always lots of options. Also, basic breakfast choices like pancakes, waffles, and French toast are usually safe bets for the finicky.
