We are staying for 8 nights on site at WDW. Dates are 12/2719 to 1/4/20. I noticed that 12/27 thru 22/31 are grayed out on the calendar but no calendar is available for 1/20. Will this change before 6/30, our ADR date?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sandra!

While all Walt Disney World Resort Guests (regardless of where they’re staying) are able to book dining reservations up to 180 days in advance, Guests at one of the more than 25 official Walt Disney World Resort hotels are allowed to book their dining reservations 180 days in advance for the entire length of their stay (up to 10 days). To take advantage of this special offer, you need to make sure to link your official Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account. If it is properly connected, it should show up under “My Plans” when you log in. Then when you’re 180 days from your check-in date, you should be able to make dining reservations for your entire 8-day stay.

I would recommend booking those coveted reservations at locations such as Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park or California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort near the end of your trip (since you’ll be able to reserve your table up to 190 days in advance). And if you don’t see the restaurant or date or time you want, don’t fret! Continue to check back regularly through your My Disney Experience account to see if something comes available later. Many Guests will plan far in advance but change their plans the closer they get to their arrival date. Just make sure you’re familiar with each restaurant’s cancellation policy before you potentially cancel a reservation.

Should you run into any issues making those reservations, feel free to reach out to the Dining Reservations hotline or check out the Frequently Asked Questions about Dining Reservations on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Here’s hoping all your dining dreams come true!
