    We are staying the night before and after our cruise at a disney resort and paid for bus transport on the cruise line bus. When does the bus depart from our hotel to port? Can I choose? I wanna be early!

    Welcome aboard, Jessica! Your family is in for quite the magical vacation with not only a Disney cruise but a visit to the Walt Disney World resort both before and after your sailing! My family loves to enjoy a Land and Sea vacation with Disney!

    I'm glad that you have reserved Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation for both legs of the trip. This is a great service and well worth the extra cost as Disney takes care of all the details, allowing your family to simply show up and relax! The evening before you set sail, you will receive a note or a voicemail in your resort room letting you know your exact pick up time and when and where to have your luggage ready. I wish I could tell you that you get to pick a specific time, but pick-ups vary by resort and cruise so your time will be assigned. Don't worry about it though, because you'll still arrive with quite a bit of time to explore the port and get onboard the ship that morning. Normally the pick-ups at the resorts will be scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and noon, with about an hour's drive to Port Canaveral.

    You'll be so glad as your cruise comes to an end that you aren't headed straight for the airport. It's always bittersweet to leave the ship after having had such a magical cruise, but knowing you still have one more night with Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort makes it that much easier!
