Janet from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are staying at the new Villas at Disneyland hotel. Do we check in at the hotel desk or is there a separate check in at the villas. Also where do you park for the villas?

Welcome to planDisney, Janet, and happy new year! I can't imagine a better place to ring in 2024 than at the Happiest Place on Earth. I happen to have first-hand knowledge about the Villas at Disneyland Hotel, so let's talk about the check-in process.

For my recent stay, I completed Direct-to-Room Service by going to my Disneyland mobile app, tapping My Hotel Reservation, and completing the Online Check-In process. I did this a couple of days before my arrival, so I received a text message as soon as my Duo Studio Villa was ready. My husband and I headed straight to our room and used the digital room key in the app to access our villa. It was so easy!

Now, if you'd like a physical key or to make any special requests, you can stop by the front desk when you arrive. Guests staying at the Villas will check in at the same desk in the Fantasy Tower. I did this on my way to Disneyland Park because I wanted a backup key in case my phone battery died!

The new Villas are located just past the Monorail Waterslides. Look for the colorful rainbow touches on the side of the building. The inviting lobby has mid-century modern touches with plenty of Disney memorabilia and relaxing spots. We found it to be welcoming and whimsical. Part of me didn't want to leave, but the theme parks were calling, and they were an easy walk from the resort.

In addition to all the amenities at Disneyland Hotel, you can relax by the new Palette Pool or grab some refreshments at the Palm Breeze Bar. You're going to have an incredible time!

Janet, I hope your upcoming Disneyland Resort visit is all you're dreaming of. Please stop by planDisney anytime; we'd love to help plan your 2024 visits!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
