We are staying at a nearby resort, not on WDW grounds but going to a few parks & Typhoon Lagoon next week. We were wondering if towels are provided or if we need to bring our own?

    Michael,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

You are going to love Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! I was just there earlier this year, and it is so much fun. The slides are fantastic, and they have something for just about any water park enthusiast. A wave pool, a lazy river, great counter service dining options, child play areas, and even private cabana areas.

Towels are provided as a complimentary perk to Walt Disney World resort hotel guests at Typhoon Lagoon but are also available for rent to all other guests as well. If you prefer, you are also always welcome to bring your own.

Prices change over time, so I cannot quote you an exact price. I remember finding the pricing reasonable, and it was preferable to having to lug wet towels back to our hotel room with us. But if you have towels, and it is not too much bother to bring them, then you can spend that money you saved on a Sand Pail Sundae at Happy Landings Ice Cream

    BONUS TIP
If you plan to stay for a long time at Typhoon Lagoon, consider booking a Beachcomber Shack or make a Typhoon Lagoon Umbrellas reservation. In both cases you get a "home base" where you can keep your belongings and include complimentary towels. Just call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529 to make a reservation.

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
