We are staying in a Little Mermaid Room at Disney Art of Animation. Do these rooms have a DVD player in them?

    Hello Charlotte,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I wanted to be sure I gave you the correct information, so I just spoke with someone about amenities that will be available to you at Disney's Art of Animation Resort in your Little Mermaid Room.  Those amenities include a hair dryer, free WiFi, an in-room safe, television, telephone with voice mail, iron and ironing board and a mini-fridge.  A DVD is not available in the room, though the TV does have hook-ups that would allow you to use your own cables to plug in your own portable DVD player.  I found a photo of the hook-ups on the unofficial site www.blog.touringplans.com (search for "Staying at the Art of Animation Resort: Info for the Grown-Ups" to find that and the photo is about a third of the way down the page).  You might enjoy some of the other great information and photos in that article, as well.

I hope that helps with your planning, Charlotte, but we'd love to hEAR from you with any other questions you have!

Wishing you a most magical vacation!

    Beth
