I am staying in The Little Mermaid room and would like a coffee pot. Can I request one?

Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney Deborah!

I absolutely adore the Art of Animation Resort! My kids and I have stayed there twice in the past three months and I think it may be my new favorite! Between the beautiful theming, gorgeous rooms, and largest pool in all of Walt Disney World, there is a huge wow factor to this resort!

I have amazing news for you, Deborah! You don't need to do anything special to request a coffee pot in your room, as it already comes equipped with a Cuisinart one or two cup coffee maker! These coffee pots are so amazing because you can brew either one or two cups at a time using the single-serve coffee pods (less mess!). When you arrive in your room, your room will be stocked with Joffrey's single-serve coffee pods, creamer, sugar, sugar-free sweeteners, and disposable coffee cups. I have to have my coffee in the morning, so believe me when I tell you that I was ecstatic when I walked into the room and saw this! And don't worry if you run out, you can always call Mousekeeping to bring more coffee supplies.

I also want to give you the scoop on the Art of Animation Resort. First, if you get an opportunity, take a walk or a run around the lake on the jogging trail. You will absolutely love taking in the beautiful sites of the resort, including the larger-than-life-sized characters, including Ursula, Little Mermaid, Crush, Lighting McQueen, King Triton, Simba, and more! You can walk over to  Disney's Pop Century Resort and check out their amazing theming (which as a fan of everything 80s and 90s, is a dream for me). They have a huge Rubix Cube, Roger Rabbit, Hot Wheels, and much more. Secondly, make sure to enjoy the activities at the Art of Animation Resort, such as marshmallow roasting offered each evening in the Lion King section. Thirdly, when you go to the Landscape of Flavors, pick up the Strawberry Yogurt Parfait-trust me! Yum-O! And lastly, don't forget that you can take the Disney Skyliner to Hollywood Studios and Epcot from the Art of Animation Resort! This offers an easy and fun way to get to the parks!

I hope you have a magical vacation!
