We are staying in a lake view, 1-BE villa at BLT in March 2017. Can the electric water pageant be seen from the balcony? Should we request a specific floor and/or view to see it?

    Hi Laura!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When we visit our Home Resort, Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, I also normally choose a Lake View! I love to start a day with a steaming cup of coffee out on our large private balcony looking out over stunning Bay Lake. Make sure your camera is charged for those exquisite sunrise photos! You won't be disappointed.

Consider that the building is shaped much like a "U." The Villas that end in an even number are on the outside of the building and those with an odd number are in the inner section. Then, the Villas that are on the Magic Kingdom Park side of the Resort are considered "North Tower" Villas and those on the side closer to Disney's Contemporary Resort are called "South Tower" Villas.

With all that in mind, the Lake View Villas that offer your very best view of the Electrical Water Pagent are odd-numbered and located anywhere on the inside of the curve or the even numbered rooms in the South Tower. That said, the even-numbered Lake View Villas on the outside of the North Tower often have magnificent views of both Bay Lake and Magic Kingdom Park! I have yet to experience a view that wasn't absolutely spectacular at this particular Disney Vacation Club Resort.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
