Welcome BACK to
planDisney, Susan! When it comes to dining, you have come to the right place, my friend! I love all of the incredible dining options in
Walt Disney World and often plan my vacations around my dining plans. It looks like you have a solid plan in place already, and I love that you are making your dining reservations to coordinate with your theme park plans for the day. Let me see if I can give you some additional recommendations or suggestions to help sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on what is sure to be a magical vacation this May!
You have the right idea with planning to enjoy the incredible spring-inspired offerings of the
Outdoor Kitchens at the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. I like to make my way through the park enjoying the delicious offerings of the Outdoor Kitchens. You will not need to worry with a dining reservation while at
EPCOT during this festival, as you will be surrounded by culinary delights!
Since you will be spending Monday and Tuesday in
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, making dining reservations at a location in the theme park or a resort with access to the Disney Skyliner is an excellent tactic. Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers a few casual table-service restaurants that accept reservations, such as Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and 50’s Prime Time Café. Some great quick-service options in the park do not require dining reservations. My favorite is Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
I could not offer dining reservations without mentioning Breakfast à la Art with Mickey and Friends at Topolino’s Terrace in
Disney’s Riviera Resort. This is hands down my favorite breakfast in all of Walt Disney World, with the bonus of Mickey & Friends dressed in their stylish European-inspired attire. You've made a great choice with both this restaurant and Sanaa at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village!
For your days in
Magic Kingdom Park, you can never go wrong with a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table. You’ll love dining at California Grill in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, but another option would be Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
For a magnificent brunch that will end your vacation in style, you have few options in
Disney Springs. The first option, and my personal favorite, is Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant where you can enjoy great authentic Irish cuisine along-side an in-house band and Irish dance troupe. Some other great options include House of Blues Restaurant and Bar, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, and STK Orlando.
I hope that you have a deliciously magical vacation this May, Susan! Please remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at planDisney, so stop back by any time we can answer your vacation questions.
