We are staying at Kidani Village...can we take food to eat by the pool?

    Jambo Libby!

You are about to stay at my favorite Resort! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is our first Disney “home,” and it holds a special place in my hEARt. Besides the fantastic food at the Resort, the animal Cast Members are the best. Did you know that over 200 hoofed animals and birds call the Resort home? Make sure to head to the savanna outlook and chat with the Animal Specialists. They are experts on their fellow Cast Members!

Your gaggle of kiddos is going to love the pool! Samawati Springs Pool is zero-depth-entry (perfect for your littles) and has a super fun waterslide. My kiddos love Uwanja Camp, which is a water playground just for kids! The babies (four and under) can climb through cargo crates and splash in a geyser at Observation Station. The older kiddos will have a blast spraying each other with water cannons, while the adults relax nearby.

You are more than welcome to bring food poolside! Maji Pool Bar serves refreshments and drinks, and we usually bring water and kid-friendly snacks from the room. One of my mom “hacks” is to head to the Uzima Springs Pool at Jambo House and mobile order lunch at The Mara. Then one of the adults brings the kiddos their meal poolside, everyone is fed, and playtime continues without interruption!

Libby, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. Asante Sana!
