I will be staying at Kadani Village the first week in June. I'm worried about the fact that the village is so far away from the resort hotel & wondering if the village is self sufficient as far as a restaurant for breakfast, pool area & transport

    Hi Arleen!

Disney’s Kidani Village is my family’s absolute favorite resort! I hope I can calm some of your worries when I tell you that Kidani Village has it’s own front desk, gift shop, restaurant and pool area!

When you arrive you will go directly to Kidani Village to check-in. Take a quick walk to Samawati Springs Pool where you will be amazed at the beauty that awaits you. There is a zero entry area, a hot tub, and a 128 foot long waterside that my boys love going down again and again. Kids may also enjoy the Uwanja Camp water play area complete with water cannons perfect for blasting your sibling or spouse! The Maji Pool Bar serves up cocktails and light meals poolside.

While there is not a true quick service dining location at Kidani Village, breakfast items including hot sandwiches are served during the morning hours at Johari Treasures Gift Shop. If you are looking for table service dining, look no further than Sanna. Located overlooking the savanna, and serving exotic fare inspired by the flavors of Africa and India, you are sure to have an amazing meal. I recommend their signature bread service as a delicious start to your meal.

We utilize Disney transportation on all our vacations and have always experienced great service from Kidani Village. Theme park buses stop at Kidani Village, then travel to Jambo House. This means that when traveling to and from the theme parks, you are always the first Guests to both board and exit the bus. You can hop any theme park bus for transportation to Jambo House, and from Jambo House you can hop a Downtown Disney bus for return service to Kidani. We actually always walk to Jambo House if we need to, and find that it is really only a 10 to 15 minute leisurely walk.

Rest assured that Kidani Village is a beautiful resort with a full offering of amenities to make your Walt Disney World Resort vacation truly magical!

    Have a Disney Day!
