    We are staying at the JW Marriott on Clementine St during our visit to Disneyland. Can we walk into the pedestrian entrance at Clementine and Katella to the Toy Story parking lot to use the shuttle to go to Disneyland ?

    Hi Rebecca,

    Staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel is a convenient way to be close to the magic and maybe even save a few bucks, but it does mean having to brainstorm your transportation options to the theme parks.

    Although your hotel is close to the Toy Story Parking Area, I would still recommend walking to the theme parks rather than trying to take the shuttle for two reasons. The first reason is that there isn’t a pedestrian entrance on that side of the Toy Story Parking Area, and trying to walk to the shuttle could be potentially dangerous as it isn’t designed for people to walk through. The second reason is that you would still have to walk for about 5-10 minutes to get to the security checkpoint at the Toy Story Parking Area, and then depending on the time of day, there could be a wait for the bus. My son and I usually park at this parking area and typically wait about 15 minutes for a bus, not to mention the five-minute ride itself. You may likely save time by walking to the Harbor entrance of the Disneyland Resort.

    And all this talk about Toy Story reminds me to share with you about Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park. I am a big fan of Toy Story Midway Mania!, which is a ride and game rolled into one. It’s so much fun!
