We are staying in 2BR at Jambo at AKL. We have 4 adults/4 kids coming but just found out that we may need to bring a 2 year old as well. The occupancy says max 8. The 2 year old doesn’t need park tickets so I was curious if he would count in the room total

    Hi Emily!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We are so happy you've found your way to the Most Magical Website on Earth.   It's my pleasure to help answer your question today.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite places to stay.  In fact every year, myself and 8 other Moms Panelists and friends stay here for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend.   We have a ball and love all the amenities the Resort offers.   I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.   The maximum occupancy for the 2 bedroom villa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Jambo House is 9 plus one infant under the age of 3.   You will have no problem adding the 2 year old to your reservation.  You do need to call and have the little one added to the reservation.  You will not be charged but they do need to know the occupancy of the room and they want to make sure the littlest mouseketeer gets a MagicBand just like the rest of the party.

I hope this has helped.  Please pop in again anytime you have another question.  All the Disney Parks Moms Panelist really enjoy helping out fellow Guests.
