We are staying in an independent hotel in Miami. Do you offer ground transportation from Miami to Port Canaveral?

Welcome back, Vanessa! It's so much fun to tack more vacation time onto the beginning or end of your Disney Cruise Line trip, isn't it? It sounds like you'll be relaxing and enjoying some time in Miami before you head out of Port Canaveral for your Disney cruise! How wonderful!

Since Miami is about four hours away from Port Canaveral, there is no Disney transportation available from there. Disney does offer ground transfers from the Miami airport to the port of Miami when Disney Cruise Line sails from there, but since you're sailing from Port Canaveral, that won't be a help. Disney also offers ground transfers between Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral, as well as from the Walt Disney Resorts in Orlando to Port Canaveral, in case you wanted to come up to Orlando to visit the Walt Disney World Resort area before you sail.

Your best bet will most likely be to rent a car in Miami to drive up to Port Canaveral. There are many car rental spots near Port Canaveral for you to return the car, if you're only doing a one way drive. Some of those car rental agencies will even drop you off at the port once you return the car in the area.

Stop back again, Vanessa, as you continue to plan your cruise. We're happy to help if you have further questions!
