We are staying at a Grand Villa at WL next week. My understanding is that there is a full size coffee maker provided. After arrival, could we request a Keurig? We would like to bring our own pods since people have different coffee needs.

    Hi Amanda,

The Wilderness Lodge is such a beautiful resort! The Grand Villas there are spectacular and I am sure you all are going to have a wonderful time. Copper Creek is my home resort for DVC so we stay there regularly. Most 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom villas feature a drip-style coffee maker but the studio rooms and regular hotel rooms do feature the Keurig single-pod coffee makers. That being said, they will have Keurig-style coffee makers on site. I would ask them at the front desk if it is an option to have an additional one in your room. They have extra machines in case one breaks but they may have to swap one out to be able to take it out of use. We recently had a broken coffee maker in our room and they were able to replace it within 15 minutes of our call!

If they are not able to accommodate an extra coffee maker, I recommend buying the resort refillable mugs. You can just pop down to the Roaring Fork which is a super quick walk from your villa and refill it with coffee as many times a day as you want. While you are there you can grab some mickey shaped waffles to get your day started on the right foot. If you are looking for a great dinner experience, right in your resort is one of the best character dining experiences in Disney World. Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is so much fun, the food is delicious, and interacting with the Evil Queen is a blast.

    Happy Planning
