We are staying at Grand Floridian, and wondering is it better to take the 1 meal or 3 meal dining plan. Can we still order room service and use the plan or would we have to pay extra for it?

    Hi Otto,

I hope you have a wonderful time at the Grand Floridian on your trip!

As for the meal plan, it really depends on your family.  If you are big eaters or like to eat at the finer places, the Deluxe Plan may work better for you.  Signature restaurants, diner shows and room service require the use of two table service meals.

If you are lighter eaters or your children are younger, the Basic Plan will work better.

You should make a list of restaurants you want to go to.  From this, you will get a general idea what it would cost you to eat (go to allearsnet.com for prices).  Now compare this with the Dining Plan price and you can decide if this is what you want to do.

I have toured with and without the plan.  I love already having my meals paid for prior to visiting but I am not willing to over pay for the option.
