We are staying at the Grand Floridian and have 8:00 AM reservation at the Crystal Palace on a day that the Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 AM. Will we be able to take the resort monorail? Does Disney transportation accommodate early morning extra magic hours?

Hi, Ann! I am hanging around with Tigger, who is so excited to share some thoughts with you...

The wonderful thing about monorails is that monorails are wonderful things!
Their tops are painted many colors.
Their bottoms zip along with a zing!
    They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
    Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about monorails is
They take you to all the fun!

It can pick you up by 7 (o'clock!),
Just please stand clear of the door.
    Hop on at Grand Floridian
To head to breakfast and more!

    The wonderful thing about monorails,
    and even buses and boats,
they can even take all Guests headed
    for Extra Magic Hour hosts!
They run early, they run late
More time for fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about all Disney transportation is
    there's not just one!

I know you just sang that right along with me ... right, Ann? Be sure to check with the Concierge at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at check-in for a current Resort monorail schedule, as it does frequently change. I just stayed there with my family last week and we had no problem arriving at Magic Kingdom early via the monorail. As Tigger mentioned earlier, transportation options headed to a park with Extra Magic Hours will begin one hour before the park's early opening time.

Please stop by again if you have any further questions for me, or even Tigger! We are always bouncing around, just waiting to help more Guests!

    Have a magical day,
    Brandy
